Congrats on your MACH 1!

CH MACH Indian Hill MeLou’s Josie OF
Josie started out with a bang at 6 months old by winning Best in Specialty Sweepstakes at the 2006 Twin Cities Lhasa Apso Club Specialty and has since earned her Championship. Not only was this Josie’s first show but it was only my third.
Saturday, August 7 at the St. Paul Dog Training Club's AKC Agility trial Josie earned her 20th double Q to achieve the MACH title....the first Champion Lhasa to do so!
On the road to achieving the MACH title Josie had to earn all other agility titles starting with Novice Standard (NA) and Novice Jumpers (NAJ), progressing to Open Standard (OA) and Open Jumpers (OAJ), then Excellent Standard (AX) and Excellent Jumpers (AXJ), finally the Master Excellent Standard (MX) and Master Excellent Jumpers (MXJ). Josie has also earned the FAST Titles Novice FAST (NF) and Open FAST (OF). To achieve the MACH title a dog needs to earn 20 QQ (double Qs = qualifying runs at the Excellent B level in both Standard and Jumpers classes on the same day) and 750 points. Points are earned by the amount of seconds a dog finishes the course under standard course time. Ex. Standard course time is 50 seconds and the dog finishes the course at 42 seconds, they would earn 8 points. Josie earned her first QQ in October ’09.
Josie has also qualified for the 2011 AKC National Agility Championships and received an invitation for the 2010 AKC/Eukanuba Agility Invitational.
In addition to the titles Josie whelped her first litter in June of ’09, all three puppies are currently in agility training and started in the conformation ring.
Josie also has several other agility titles in both USDAA (United States Dog Agility Association) and CPE (Canine Performance Events).
