 If you are a prospective judge applicant for our breed you will find many resources here to help you understand our unique breed and its special heritage. There is a link here for both our illustrated standard and the Guide to the standard which were developed by both the Breed standard committee and the Judges Education committee from many years of experience with the Lhasa Apso.

National Judges Education Presentation

The American Lhasa Apso Judges Education Program is held each year in conjunction with its national specially show in October.  It is comprised of a 90 minute in-depth PowerPoint presentation with live dogs followed by ring side mentoring with many of our master breeders, breeder Judges who are willing to share their years of experienced insight with you.
 

The 2008 National Specialty will be held in
Mansfield Mass.

October 20-24 at the Holiday Inn Foxboro

Judges Education Program will be held October 24, 2008 at 8:00 am at the charge of $25.00 followed by ringside mentoring . Please send your reservations to:

 

Judge applicants who are looking for Breed Mentors

If you need a local mentor please contact any member of our Judges Education committee below or any of our member AKC Licensed Judges they have all agreed to mentor for the parent club..  Or click on the link on the left hand menu, "Mentor List",  to locate a Club member nearest to you who meets the AKC requirements to mentor or arrange a ringside breed chat or kennel visit.
