Members with puppies or dogs to place should check the "Dog Wanted" bulletin board, located in the "Members Only" section. This is a waiting list from people around the country, interested in owning one of our ALAC dogs. You will need a password, which has gone out in e-mail to members, but if you didn't get yours, and you are a paid up member, contact me.
Members who want their webpages linked to the website should email me as well. If you don't have a website, but would like to have one, I can do that too, very inexpensively - proceeds to support the costs of running ALAC's website. Your page would be a very modest one, but a way to showcase your dogs to the world.
We will soon be adding a stud dog catalogue - photos and pedigrees, and a "Show Prospects for Sale" feature to the Members Only area, for those breeders interested in diversifying their breeding programs.
The ability to take payments by secure credit card will soon be implemented. Dues can be paid by credit card on line. You can even arrange to pay dues automatically every September without even remembering to do it!!! Most of ALAC's financial business can now be conducted online, making it super convenient for those of us who check our e-mail once a day: the click of a few keys, versus the old envelope, checkbook, stamp and postoffice routine!
We now have a membership list online, visible to members only. Anyone who does NOT want their contact information (phone and e-mail) listed, contact me.
